The pre-historic Mammoth tusks are found as a bi - product of the gold mining industry in Alaska. They are carbon dated to be approximately 25,800 years old. The color of your mammoth tusk may vary due to the minerals in the ground water where the tusks are buried. The varying color of the mammoth tusks make each piece of jewelry unique.
