This unique hand etched Colored Jumping Deer design on a Buck 835 Folding Selkirk Pocket Knife with a bovine bone front handle. The back of the knife has a belt clip/ money clip. It is a lock blade knife and a useful pocket knife. The artwork was originally hand etched by Chris Tyson. The knife is a liner lock blade, meaning it was made for one handed opening. The dimensions of the Buck 835 Folding Selkirk Pocket Knife with the blade closed are 4.29" x 1.23" x 0.60". The blade itself is approximately 3.25" making the width of the knife with an open blade 7.5". The SKU is NC 835 - 103C.

The scrimshaw is inked with a colored india ink and sealed with renaissance wax, which is used by museums for antique restoration. It also helps bring out the beauty of the artwork as well as in the cow bone. The knife is water resistant, but not waterproof.
Buck 420HS Steel. This is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium steels. Add in Buck's exclusive heat-treat process for durability and corrosion resistance.
Drop Point Blade, is full bellied with a strong thick point for heavier tasks. The drop point blade is strong and versatile.
